I'm heavily using 1password now for agentic usage. All of my business is set up on it now, and all of my credentials are locally using op://, or service accounts. I've put in a lot of effort to try and isolate systems using least privilege, but one problem is that when agents (or applications) request a credential from the system, it doesn't say WHAT credential is being requested. Half the time it doesn't even say the correct name for the application making the request, either. This is a big problem, because I'm starting to get into the habit of just spamming "Accept" blindly. But the whole reason I have set up this whole pipeline is so I can catch malicious programs trying to gain access - for example, supply chain attack infections. Without seeing what credential is being requested, and the process information that is requesting it, I'm finding it's not actually adding much protection at all, because it's putting me into a false sense of security and promoting bad habits. If I'm running multiple agents in parallel, which is often the case, it might just say "Terminal requests access to your vault" or something similar. Which terminal is that? What is the underlying entity being requested? What credential? What is the process ID or terminal title, so I can isolate it to a terminal/agent? Etc. I think this is something that urgently needs to be added. Otherwise, as it stands, it's not really offering much protection because users will just go "oh, it's probably just that agent running - I'm sure it's fine" and accept everything. If that agent happened to have installed a malicious npm package, you'd probably catch it too late.56Views0likes3Commentsop from a remote docker container?
Hi, We're using (linux) ssh remotely to connect to an on-prem bastion. Behind the bastion is a docker container we use for ansible deployment. There are several playbooks that need environment variables exported in order to run. It would be nice to pull these in on the remote container using op instead of the current cut/paste workflow. Is it possible to authorize the terminal locally with op signin and then schmooze that authorization into the remote docker container with ssh -A or something to allow the container to do something like: TOKEN=$(op read "op://Dev Secrets/GitHub Token/password") ? Our 1P accounts are issued through an enterprise and we use SSO for login with our on-prem IDP so there may be some restrictions with methods available (eg: service account token)Solved48Views0likes1CommentCan't share a vault with a Guest
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone in the community has run into this before, because I've exhausted what I can try on my side and I'm still waiting on a reply from Support and Success. The situation: I invited a client to my Business account as a Guest. He accepted the invitation, created his account, and I confirmed his access. His status is now Active and he is not assigned to any vault. However, every time I try to add him to a vault, I get this error: Failed to add person to vault. An unexpected error occurred. Error Code: 400 What I've already checked / tried: I'm the only team member on the account and I hold owner/administrator permissions, so I have full rights to manage vaults and people. The guest is not assigned to any other vault. Tried adding him from the vault side (Manage Access) and from the person side (People → user profile → Vaults). Both fail with the same error. Deleted the user entirely and re-invited him from scratch. He accepted again, I confirmed him again, and the error persists. Tried a different browser and an incognito window — same result. Has anyone seen this before? Is there something I might be missing, or a workaround that's worked for you? Thanks in advance for any pointers.49Views0likes2CommentsAuto type not working on certain app after today's update to 8.12.12
We use a tool called CCH Pfx Practice Management. It was working great until today's update. I tried unchecking the auto-type box and re-checking it, but it still does not work. Our two other applications that are also from CCH and use auto-type, work just fine....so the auto-type feature is still working, just not on CCHPM. Any ideas? We also tried recreating a new login, but it did not work either. Thank you.49Views0likes3Comments1password crazy high cpu usage on blank Chrome page.

Hello, I sent an email about nonprofit verification around five days ago, and my ticket ID is 561671. My account is currently in the trial period, and I would like to complete the nonprofit verification and move to the appropriate plan before the trial ends. If possible, I would prefer to avoid having to change the subscription more than once during the process. However, I have not yet received a reply, so I wanted to ask whether this waiting time is typical, or if there is any chance that my request was not received properly. Could you please let me know how long nonprofit verification requests usually take to process? If possible, I would also really appreciate it if you could check ticket 561671. Even a rough estimate of the expected timeline would be very helpful for deciding how to proceed. Since this is a public community, I have not included any personal or account-identifying information here. If needed, I would be happy to provide additional details privately. Thank you.70Views0likes1CommentCurrent Grandfathered Family Plan and getting family though business plan
So I'm currently on the grandfathered $45/mo family plan from joining really early. My business just picked up 1Password and offers the family plan free. I'm wondering if I take advantage of that opportunity, would I lose my grandfathered rate if I ever leave the business? How long does the business -> Family plan last?57Views0likes3CommentsSticky icon remains on other pages
Hi, Looking for advice on how to solve this issue, tried with 1Password - Password Manager > Hide on this page. That didn't change anything sadly. Only one user has this problem with one webpage where the icon from a login field remains, even when viewing other pages on the same website. The icon remains when navigating to other pages, as if the field remains hidden in the background. A refresh of the page removes the "ghost icon". Seems quite similar to another thread I found. https://www.1password.community/discussions/1password/1password-menu-icon-in-text-fields/3669893Views0likes7Comments
