Hi, I’m trying to use the 1Password extension in Helium Browser on Windows 11, but it won’t connect to the 1Password desktop app. The extension shows “Integration status: Connection problem” even when the desktop app is unlocked. Details: Windows 11 Pro 25H2, build 26200.8655 1Password for Windows 8.12.22 Helium 0.13.3.1 1Password extension ID: aeblfdkhhhdcdjpifhhbdiojplfjncoa Helium path: C:\Program Files\imput\Helium\Application\chrome.exe Helium publisher: imput LLC Relevant BrowserSupport log: Verifying browser "C:\Program Files\imput\Helium\Application\chrome.exe" name: chrome, publisher: imput LLC, version: 0.13.3.1 Browser support error: BrowserVerificationFail Additional error context: browser mismatch I reported this to Helium here: https://github.com/imputnet/helium-windows/issues/293 Their maintainer closed it as not planned and said this should be reported to 1Password. They also confirmed Helium’s executable is named chrome.exe for historical reasons, though changing that would require investigation on their side. In 1Password, Settings → Browser does not show an Add Browser option, so I can’t manually trust Helium. Is there a supported way to add/trust this browser, or is the chrome.exe + imput LLC publisher combination currently blocked by 1Password’s browser verification?11Views0likes1CommentNot understanding Win Hello lately
I always was able to get Windows Hello to open instead of asking for my 1PW password first. It takes some time and it used to be hidden. Now it never opens up, I always have to use the 1PW password and it is two issues to me. My 1PW password is really long, but more so, what is the big deal with Windows Hello if I am forced to enter my other PW all the time. Eventually Windows Hello appears, but no need. Aggravating. Has something changed?20Views0likes2Comments"1password quit unexpectedly" at every startup
Hi, Everytime I switch on my PC an error window is popping up with this message "1password quit unexpectedly". Everything works fine, and 1password is working as expected. How could I get rid of this annoying popup? My version is 1Password for Windows 8.11.20 (81120039), running on Win11 25H2 Thanks2.3KViews0likes26CommentsMissing add browser button
Apparently, to add an unsupported browser, I can click "Add Browser". But there is no "Add Browser" button: The log file goes on an on about "Verifying browser", followed by, "Additional error context: Process is not cmd.exe" It does note that the browser is signed by OSSign, which is correct for Librewolf, and it is looking at the correct copy of librewolf.exe. The parent process of that being cmd.exe is up to Microsoft. I would think that since I've clicked on it, the parent process would be explorer.exe in the normal case. I did try launching a cmd.exe terminal window and running librewolf from there, but that did not help.Solved200Views0likes21CommentsHow do I merge records?

1password v8.11.22, Production Channel, MSIX installed, autoupdated, and also try reinstalling from https://downloads.1password.com/win/1PasswordSetup-latest.msixbundle Windows: 25H2 26200.7462 Passkey integration with Windows is enabled and was working until today, when I went to use it after the update to 8.11.22. I was attempting to login to GitHub, I got the usual list (ignore that Windows Hello one, I create that after 1password started failing so I could continue to work) Github spins with "Waiting for input from browser interaction..." and then times out with Authentication Failed. The browser console shows webauthn-support.ts:47 Uncaught (in promise) AbortError: signal is aborted without reason at WebauthnGetElement.<anonymous> (webauthn-support.ts:47:36) at WebauthnGetElement.prompt (webauthn-get-element.ts:176:10) at HTMLButtonElement.l (bind.js:73:43) webauthn-get-element.ts:214 Uncaught (in promise) NotAllowedError: The operation either timed out or was not allowed. See: https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn-2/#sctn-privacy-considerations-client. It also fails. Amazon. Fails. I turned off Windows integration and turned on "Offer to save and signin passkeys" in the browser plugin settings, and disabled 1password in the windows passkey settings. The browser plugin prompts the old non-integrated way and works. Now, just in case you thought it was Windows, I also have a laptop where 1password has not been updated yet and is still on 8.11.20. That works as expected I've opened a ticket DLD-89456-987, but while I wait for that to get a response, I thought I'd give a heads-up here, as a few others at work are having the same problem so I don't think it's just me.92Views1like1CommentFeature Feedback: UI Overlap Issue & More Flexible Secret Sharing Controls
Dear 1Password Team, I would like to share several feedback points regarding usability and flexibility within the 1Password Windows desktop application and its secret sharing feature. First, I noticed a UI issue in the Windows desktop app where the "New Item" button appears overlapped by the window’s minimize control. This creates a confusing visual layout and may affect usability, particularly when navigating quickly. It would be helpful if this overlap could be reviewed and adjusted to ensure consistent spacing and clarity across window sizes or display scaling settings. Second, regarding the secret sharing feature, I would appreciate more flexibility in configuring expiration and viewing limitations: * Custom link expiration duration Currently, the available options for "Link expires after" are limited to fixed presets (1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days). In practical scenarios, more granular control would be very useful — for example: - 30 minutes - 90 minutes - 21 days - any custom duration defined by the user While this may seem like a small enhancement, it would significantly improve usability in real-world workflows where precise timing matters. * Custom number of allowed views At present, the viewing limitation only allows either: - unlimited views - or exactly 1 view It would be very helpful if users could specify custom limits (e.g., 2 views, 3 views, 5 views, etc.), especially when sharing secrets with small teams or temporary collaborators. * Selective field sharing Another improvement that would greatly enhance security flexibility is the ability to choose which fields within an item are shared. For example, in my case, I may want to share GitLab credentials (username and password) but exclude attached files such as recovery codes. Currently, sharing an item also shares all attachments, which may expose sensitive backup data unintentionally. Overall, these enhancements would improve both usability and security control, especially for users who rely on 1Password for professional workflows and credential sharing. Thank you for continuously improving the product, and I hope these suggestions are helpful for future updates. Best regards,84Views0likes4Comments1passwordpro Crash at Windows Login.

Hello, I did some research and found people with the same issues but couldn't resolve my problem. Basically, when I log in to UniFi, the autofill works as expected BUT the 2FA is not working. If I copy and paste the code, then it works. Anybody dealing with the same issue? I tried deleting all the browser hostory including literally everything but it does not work. I have the same issue with Chrome and Edge. I have attached the printscreen. It used to work before but for some reason stopped a few weeks ago. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!105Views0likes7Comments
