1Password Autofill has Stopped Working in Firefox for Android

1Password’s autofill feature has completely broken in the past few days on Firefox for Android.

Completely reinstalling 1Password made no difference. Checked perms, even tried different autofill positions (in-keyboard vs. below-field). Restarting my phone and using Firefox private mode with no enabled extensions still failed.

Some other apps work as expected; not Firefox.

Not sure if they’re related, but I also noticed that it’s started taking 15+ seconds to get through the login flow when opening the 1Password app. This was an issue that occurred for a couple months over Summer 2024, and was eliminated until very recently. This occurs on multiple WiFi and mobile networks.

Details:

1Password Android App Version: 8.12.30 (July 28, 2026)

Model: Samsung S25 Ultra

One UI Version 8.5

Android Version 16

Hi @zkhcohen, thanks for posting! I’m sorry to hear that autofill is broken in Firefox, and that the app takes a very long time to unlock.

I'd like to have our support team investigate this further. Could you reproduce the behaviours, then create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from your Android device: Send a diagnostics report (Android)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to: support@1password.com

With your email please include:

You’ll receive a reply with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can connect the dots. Thanks!

Hey! This post was temporarily removed when I originally submitted it, so I already opened a case with support and they're working on it. :)

Thanks!
