App freeze after successfully inputting PIN

This happens about half the time when unlocking 1Password. Need to force close the app and try again. Only happens when I put in my device PIN correctly.

I am having this problem in almost all situations.

When I click on the UI that appears for autofill input in the browser, it opens the 1Password app as an overlay.

And when I dismiss it with the fingerprint recognition I have set up, the app closes and the input should be in the browser, but the app is stuck.
It doesn't close with the back button, it just scrolls up and down.

I ended up tapping the area outside of the app to close it, and then I tried to autofill again to open the app and authenticate, and then the app closes and the input works fine.

I've saved some logs as this happens frequently (with a video of the issue).

What should I do?

Added comments:

It doesn't just happen in the browser.
It also happens after fingerprint recognition when opening the 1Password app on its own.
Once it happens, I close it and reopen it to authenticate and it works fine.

However, if I try again after some time has passed, the app will not authenticate and move on to the next step.

I'm sorry that 1Password is intermittently failing to unlock. Our developers are investigating an issue where 1Password for Android stops responding when you unlock the app. Can you restart your Android device and then reproduce the issue on more time. Then, so that I can investigate further, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Android device:

I'm experiencing the exact same issue as described by @kreek.
It started around 1~2 weeks ago.

I have restarted the phone and reinstalled 1password with no success

I, too, am experiencing this issue on a Pixel 8. It affects both filling in passwords in apps as well as just trying to unlock 1Password app directly. I have it set up to use my biometrics (fingerprint or face). It'll unlock, but then stay on a gray screen with the 1Password logo across the top.

I'll submit a diagnostic per instructions above the next time it happens (probably later today).

1Password for Android worked great all day today, and then it did the gray screen freeze again. I immediately grabbed a diagnostic report and submitted it per your instructions.
