1Password automatically locks after a few seconds, even if the auto lock is set to 1 hour.

I've been having this locking issue for years on both Intel and M1 Mac Minis, predating High Performance sharing. But yes, I am using HP now.

For Jump Desktop users...I was able to stop the instant locking by unchecking "Privacy Mode" under the Jump Desktop "Remote" menu.

Hi @1P_Dave, did this ever get resolved fully? I am running 1Password 8.11.14 on a Mac Studio running Tahoe 26.0.1, connected via Apple Remote Desktop 3.10 in high performance mode. It doesn't matter if I set the Auto-lock option to 5 minutes or 2 weeks, it auto locks in seconds. The only option that resolves the issue is to set auto-lock to 'never', which I wouldn't want to do. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Been a year now, any updates on this? Will we ever see a fix?

@aaronpace

My apologies for the continued inconvenience, the issue is still open in our developer's backlog. Have you tried the steps in my post from August? They might help the situation. You can find the steps here.

Also experiencing this issue. Clicked on your "here" link, but it just points to a broken page with.

Could you just share the info directly? this is a really frustrating experience with screen sharing.

FWIW, i'm on 1Password for Mac 8.10.70

Side note, your markdown integration seems kinda cool, but is a bit difficult when directly adding markdown. would be great if the forums offered an option to preview instead of assuming and entering unintended characters.

Hi Dave,

The workaround sometimes works, then it stops working. Definitely nice to see it sometimes works, but it's still inconvenient when it stops working. High performance mode is really a must. If anyone actually tries using it, you can see it's much easier on the eyes. I consider it an accessibility feature and for that reason using standard mode isn't really acceptable. I hope this gets some attention instead of being a niche ask.

Thanks for the help.

@aaronpace

Thank you for trying the workaround, I'm sorry that it only works temporarily. I've shared your comments regarding the impact this issue continues to have on your workflow with our team.

Still finding the autolock issue on High performance screen sharing, the link to the workarounds (linked here) doesn't work anymore either

Still affecting me too. Is this actually being worked on or is it backlogged? If the latter I may reach out to your executive team to have this looked at.
