Question

Autofill not working for one site

Autofill has stopped working for me on one site. I work as a consultant so I am logging into this one site as different customers all day long, therefore, I rely on 1Password to bring up the suggestion once I start typing and autofill.

I don't know when it happened but it changed for this site and now I have to go to the button at the top of my browser and do the search rather than an autofill on the username and password in the middle of the screen. It just brings up suggestions for my own email logins as per image attached.

I am up to date with the version and using Vivaldi Browser. Same happens with Chrome or Edge.

Appreciate the help!

Hi @Nichounited, I’m sorry to hear that autofill has stopped working on a specific website.

Could you email in to support@1password.com with the URL for the page, so our support team can do some testing?

Alternately, if this is an internal page we wouldn’t be able to access for testing, you can right-click anywhere on the login page, go to 1Password > Help > Collect Page Structure, and attach the json file that is saved to your downloads folder to your email.

With your email please include:

You’ll receive a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can join the dots. Thanks!

Support seem to have fixed things.

“1Password is incorrectly detecting the login page as a sign up page. I have gone ahead and filed an issue with our development team to see if we can improve the behaviour here in a future update.”

So all good now!
