[BUG] COMMAND\ not works anymore in preference panel and instead COMMAND< is saved as shortcut?

Are you using a non US keyboard layout? I have the same problem with German keyboard layout. The problem was reported several times since the beginning of the early access phase and it‘s still not fixed.

When in "Preferences > General" i try to change a shortcut trying to input " cmd " + " \ " key (that is left of the " 1 " key) the shortcut registered uses instead the "< >" key. https://streamable.com/wg2ykl

If i try the inverse, input a shortcut like " opt " + " < > " keys it register the shortcut as if it was " opt " + " \ ", what i want. https://streamable.com/8t1c96

Thanks for following up. As I've mentioned above, we're actively investigating, but don't have anything to share just yet. If you're able to use a different shortcut (other than \ or <>), that should improve your state of play. Let me know!

I downgraded to 1Password 7, my brain was so wired to that shortcut for many years that changing it wasn’t an option 😅

As I mentioned, we're still actively looking into it, so hopefully we should have it sorted sooner rather than later, and then your muscle memory will be able to use 1Password 8. Keep an eye out!
