Latest patch did not fix this.

Same problem here. I only have 2 items stuck in "Offline Items" but they are important and have never been archived. I confirmed that modifying them did not propagate to other devices.

I don't have a "logout" option, only "close", "lock" and "quit". "Quit" and restart did not fix the issue. I'm on 8.10.9

@jimgarrison

If you're satisfied that you don't need those items any more and you want to permanently discard them, follow the steps shown in Sign out of 1Password and sign back in, but first make sure that you can sign in to 1Password.com and that you know your account password and have another device signed in nearby or have a copy of your Emergency Kit to hand.

To sign out, click the 🔽 down arrow at the top of the sidebar and choose Manage Accounts, then click your account. Click the ••• button in the top-right corner, then Sign Out.

If that's your only 1Password account, you'll be back at the Welcome screen and you can click Sign In.
If you're still signed in to another 1Password account, click "+ Add an Account" on the Manage Accounts screen to sign back in.

That worked, the items disappeared from the "Offline" list but remain synced.

The solution posted by @AlwaysSortaCurious worked for me -- signed out of 1Password on MacAir and signed back in -- the message went away.
