Continuing on from: New Feature "Expiry date" - Where is the alert? | 1Password Community

Are there any updates on a more thorough alert process through the 1Password platform?

The feature released 4 months ago is all good and well if you are actively in the application and opening watchtower on a daily basis but, in the real world, it would be great to have specific alert notifications that can be directed to email addresses - possibly even defining additional alert triggers such as month, week and/or day.

This could be a really good selling point as we store a multitude of public and private keys that have TTLs defined and there is an opportunity to receive alerts when one is coming up to expiry.

+5 to better alerting - using a calendar app is a safer bet to avoid missing api rotations. For me personally, a banner at the top of the app when I open it saying “Passwords are expiring”, with a link to the watchtower view, would suffice.
