Hi Dave,
I'm on the 1Password "Version 8.10.44.34" and this is not working. I'm on the Chase.com URL and your work around doesn't work. Am I able to go back to an earlier release where this did work? It seems you guys introduced a bug. Also, I'm using Chrome.

I'll copy and paste for now but this has been an annoyance for at least a month. Pleas let me know when you'll be backing out this change or fixing it. Thanks an inmate.

Hello @ddavid1073! 👋

I'm sorry that you're unable to fill your login information into Chase's website. Our developers are working on an issue that is affecting chase.com and a few other websites, can you tell me if you have the 1Password 8 desktop app installed?

And are you encountering the issue on a Mac or Windows PC? I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the reply. Can you update 1Password for Windows (the desktop app, not the browser extension) to 8.10.45: How to keep 1Password up to date

If you don't have it installed then you can get it here: Get the 1Password apps

After installing/updating, let me know if still see the issue on Chase.com.

Dave,
I'm afraid I don't understand how to update the extension based on your link. Can you send me a link to update the extension OR do I need to remove and re add it. It states in your doc that it looks to update daily?

Dave,
I deleted 1password and reloaded the extension from the chrome store. It still shows as Version
8.10.44.34. This is becoming a bit frustrating. If your unsure of what to do, please pass this onto someone else. Thank you

@ddavid1073

I'm sorry for the confusion. I'm asking you to make sure that you have the desktop app installed. The desktop app is separate from the browser extension.

There is currently an issue with filling on certain websites that affects users who are only using the browser extension. If you install the desktop app as well, so that you have both the desktop app and the browser extension installed, you might be able to workaround the issue:

  1. Download and install the 1Password for Windows desktop app: https://1password.com/downloads/windows
  2. Open and unlock the 1Password for Windows desktop app.
  3. Click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and click Settings.
  4. Click Browsers.
  5. Make sure that "Connect with 1Password in the browser" is turned on.
  6. Restart your Windows PC.

Then try to fill into chase.com again.

Is this a beta? It works for chase. Does it break anything else?

Pilot? That would be difficult for an end user to have to deal with if this is the final solution.

@ddavid1073

If you downloaded the 1Password for Windows desktop app using the link in my post here then you're using the official stable version of the app. It's not a beta.

I recommend having both the browser extension and the desktop app installed since that gives you all of 1Password's features.

To confirm: are you now able to fill your login credentials on chase.com? Or are you still seeing an issue?
