Passkeys not working on Edge beta

Just thought I’d note that whilst I like the idea of the new feature in terms of UX, it’s basically broken passkeys for me on edge and almost never works without intervention

When going to a site that uses passkeys 1password does not popup. I can wake it up by clicking the 1password icon in the toolbar (pinned). This is still occuring on the beta extension (I’ll try the nightly extension next before turning the feature off - desktop is already beta).

I mostly use apple devices. Rather wondering whether to use apple ‘passwords’ instead, and even whether to use safari to get a more seamless interaction. Passkeys are used by so many services I am regularly accessing including corporate, so any friction=pain.

(The nightly extension, combined with edge beta -- not tried dev etc didn’t help)

Send a diagnostics report (browser extension)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com
