Request: Turn off username guessing in the apps [RESOLVED]

When I go to create a new login, the user name is prefilled with an email address I haven’t used in years. This shouldn’t have any email address, especially when I use Fastmail’s masked emails. I hope this is a bug and not a normal thing.

I'm happy to share that, with the latest update to the stable version of 1Password (8.10.78), our team has added a setting to turn off the prefilling of usernames when creating new items in the app:

Apple imposes a limit on the number of users that can be added to a TestFlight beta. However, users are dropped from the TestFlight if they're inactive for a certain amount of time which frees up spots for new folks to join the TestFlight. 🙂

Hello, Dave. This feature doesn't seem to be working for me. I have it unchecked, but still get prompts/popovers that suggest unrelated email addresses at logins. I don't want unrelated email suggestions because this leads to mistakes.

For instance, I don't use my 1password account email to login anywhere anymore, but it's suggested with every login. How can I make this stop?

I'm using 1Password for Mac 8.11.14 and Brave Browser Brave 1.83.118 (Official Build)
