July 28, 2026. Desktop app sorts nicely. Thank you. Can you do the same for the extensions?

Thank you for the feedback! I’ve filed a feature request on your behalf and our product team will look into possibly adding additional sorting options to 1Password in the browser for future releases.

+1 for basic sort options in the extensions. We have several names associated across many saved items reflected in the titles. Alpha sorting extension search results would be a big quality of life for us.

    Hello @Fogyreef! 👋

I’ve split your comment into a new thread, dedicated to sorting in the browser extension, since the old thread hadn’t been active for over 3 years and was more focused on the desktop app.

While the browser extension is meant to be a more simplified user experience when it comes to search and sorting than the desktop app, I can definitely see how more options would be useful for some people. Could you tell me a little more about what sorting options you’d like to see and some instances where they would be useful for you?

Once I hear back from you I’d be happy to file a feature request on your behalf.

Thanks, Dave. The simplest example is a list of credit cards. Account holders grouped by name, then account. Another would be asset passwords. High tens of monitored assets ordered by building, floor, room. Etc.
