Unable to export to data to Bitwarden or Apple Passwords

I am trying to export my 1Password data to Bitwarden on my iPhone. I have active subscriptions to both right now and want to use Bitwarden as a backup.  I got into the iOS app, choose Export, type in my account name. I select Bitwarden as my destination, click Continue and it just sits there and does nothing.

I tried a second time to export and chose thr Passwords app and it also just hangs there.

Eventually, the phone locks, and when I unlock it, it tells me the export failed.

What am I doing wrong here?

Hello @PastaShock! 👋

I’m sorry that you’re running into trouble when exporting your items from 1Password through the Credential Exchange standard. It sounds like a certain item (or items) might be causing the export to fail and we’ll need to investigate further. Please reproduce the issue again and then I'd like to ask you to create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from your iOS device:

Send a diagnostics report (iOS)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com

With your email please include:

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number.  Please post that number here.  Thanks very much!

I also have exactly the same issue and will send a report as suggested above.

Edit: however when I attempt to send a diagnostics report, the link takes me to 1Password, but nothing further happens (I do have the standard Apple Mail client set up and working).

@nigelm

Try the manual steps to generate a diagnostics report:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password for iOS.
  2. Select the icon for your account or collection at the top left.

    If you're using an iPad, select your account or collection at the top of the sidebar.

  3. Select Need Help? > Send Diagnostics Report.
  4. Select your email app, then write a description of the problem and send the message.

I have exactly the same problem. I have submitted the diagnostics file to support@1password.com but have not received an acknowledgement or support ID.

@Dj13r

Did you use a different email address to send an email to our team? I’m not seeing anything from the email address that you use for your community account.

No, it was sent from the same email address as I used for this account. I sent again earlier today but will send again from this email address
