Question

Disabling the "lock 1password when computer locks" toggle organization wide

Hello,

Thank you in advance for any help.

I am looking to see if there is any way to control the "lock 1password when computer locks" setting globaly for all my users. We are hoping to make sure that check box is unchecked since it comes checked by default.

I can't seem to find any ability to control that from the 1Password admin console and the only other option I found was to potentially change registry keys however that method did not appear to be an actual option.

Any sugestions?

Hi @troxtom,

That setting is client-specific, so I'm afraid there's no global way to control it.

If you want to share a bit more about your use case, I'm happy to submit a feature request to investigate making this a global option.

Hi Simon,

Thank you for letting me know. Yes please do submit a feature request if you don't mind. We find that having 1Password lock every time your computer locks to be cumbersome and find that's our biggest barrier to our users enjoying the software. Let me know if you need anything else to submit that feature request.

Best,

Thomas
