On CentOS 7:

Running transaction
Installing : 1password-cli-2.39.0-1.x86_64 1/2
Installing : 1password-8.12.36-1.x86_64 2/2
install: failed to access '/etc/1password/': No such file or directory
warning: %post(1password-8.12.36-1.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1
Non-fatal POSTIN scriptlet failure in rpm package 1password-8.12.36-1.x86_64
Verifying : 1password-8.12.36-1.x86_64 1/2
Verifying : 1password-cli-2.39.0-1.x86_64 2/2

Installed:
1password.x86_64 0:8.12.36-1 1password-cli.x86_64 0:2.39.0-1

Complete!

The directory /etc/1password is not created. Manually create it and run “yum reinstall 1password”; that succeeds and puts a file `custom_allowed_browsers` in /etc/1password. But we get other files not installed:

Running transaction
Installing : 1password-8.12.36-1.x86_64 1/1
install: failed to access '/usr/share/doc/1password/examples/': No such file or directory
warning: %post(1password-8.12.36-1.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1
Non-fatal POSTIN scriptlet failure in rpm package 1password-8.12.36-1.x86_64

So, the directory `/usr/share/doc/1password/examples` is not created by the package. Once again, manually create that directory, and do “yum reinstall 1password” and it finally succeeds, placing a file custom_allowed_browsers in that directory.
