One Web Domain, Multiple Logins for different Web Pages Autofill not Working
We're a local county government that recently moved to 1Password and some of our offices access different web pages that have different logins and are on the same root web domain.
As an example, our county attorney's office may need to access https://statewebsite.us/courtrecords, https://statewebsite.us/edocs, or https://statewebsite.us/office/edocs which share the same root domain, but have different logins for each of the web pages.
When visiting these websites, 1Password appears to only look at the root domain and not the full web address and does not autofill the credentials or only offers the user's identity as an option. This is causing user frustration since before moving to 1Password, the built-in browser password manager was auto filling their credentials for the different web pages they access daily without issue.
Along with this, when visiting a web page that they have credentials for in 1Password, with the browser extension in the upper right of the browser doesn't always shows the correct saved credentials or only offers the user's identity card as an option when using Suggestions. The same goes for the prompt that is shown for the username/password fields on the web page.
Does 1Password look at the full web address or only the root domain? How do we resolve this issue for users? Is it possible to have 1Password actually autofill credentials without user interaction?
Also, submitted a help request yesterday to support and have only received the automated AI response and have not heard from its "human friend" in almost 24 hours after submitting the request. My coworker submitted a ticket for another issue earlier in the week and is still waiting to hear from support. Is it normal for long delays when contacting support? Should we use the community and not rely on support?
Almost beginning to question if we made the correct decision to move to 1Password...
