Question

Passkeys and Adobe apps

Hi,

I've saved a passkey for my Adobe account and can use it no problem to access the Adobe website on any of my devices.

However, when I'm trying to login to an app (i.e. Lightroom, Photoshop) the app opens a login window which includes the option to use a Passkey, then Window pops up little dialog asking me to plug in the USB drive my passkey is on, obviously I don't have that.

I then need to cancel that and choose to authenticate another way.   Should 1Password be able to supply the passkey in this situation?

Thanks.

Hello @dns72! 👋

Thanks for reaching out1 This is something that our team is already working on! If you'd like a sneak peak then you can try the 1Password beta for Windows using the instructions in this post:

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you Dave. I don't really want to have to run a beta Windows version - however the fact the feature is on the way is fantastic, thanks!

I completely understand skipping the beta, hopefully this functionality will be released to the stable version soon. For the time being, you can continue to sign in to your Adobe account using other methods like a password (as you mentioned doing in your original post).
