Question

Will I have a problem with two 1password accounts?

I currently use the family plan to run my small business and my family's passwords. I work as subcontractor for another company that needs a password manager for their team. I am on that team as well. I was thinking of recommending 1password for business to this organization. How will this impact me if I am a user in this organization as well as a user for my own 1password family account. How can I be logged in to two accounts with the Chrome extension... I'll just answer my own question, the answer is that I can't. What do you think I should do here? How can I make this work? What is recommended in this situatiion?

Hi @jordydme,

Good question! You can absolutely have multiple accounts in 1Password and the scenario you're describing is very common. I'll point you to a couple of support pages that might be helpful:

Since you mentioned the Chrome extension specifically, I'll share the steps here:

  1. Select the 1Password button in your browser’s toolbar.
  2. Select the account menu in the top left corner of the pop-up and choose Settings.
  3. Select Accounts & vaults, then select Sign in to another account and follow the steps to add your account.

I hope that's helpful. Let us know if you run into any roadblocks!
