Perplexity Comet browser not supported

Hi team,

There doesn't seem to be any way to make 1Password app + browser extension connection work in Perplexity's Comet browser on my work laptop. The browser extension requires unlock separately. In other words, the 1Password app is incompatible with Comet.

Is there a timeline for a fix I can share with IT leadership?

    Thanks for the feedback! For security reasons, the 1Password desktop app will by default only connect to supported browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, Brave, and Edge. If you're using a Mac or Linux device then you can add unsupported browsers like Perplexity Comet as an additional browser to the desktop app: Connect additional browsers to the 1Password app

    Our team is hoping to bring a similar feature to 1Password for Windows as well and I've shared your request with the team.

      Thank you for the response. It is good that there is a solution for alternative OSes. Is there a timeline I can share with IT leadership for a fix on Windows? 

      What is 1P's recommendation in the meantime, that I could share with leaders?
