When passkeys come out of Beta in 1Password?

I have been using 1Password for probably more than 10 years. I mainly use it on my iPhone (iOS 17.5.1) and only refer to what I share in iCloud on my Mac. I have two questions.

(1) When I search for "1Password" in the App Store, I get "Get" even though I am using 1Password. I think it is probably because I am using 1Password8, but will installing 1Password8 overwrite my current data? I am hesitant to install it because I am afraid. iPassword8 will be installed and charged, but how can the data of iPassword7 be transferred to iPassword8?

(2) When I access 1Password.com, it asks for my security key and email address, but I don't know how to verify my security key. I have looked at the help articles, but nothing is registered under Settings > Account. I don't remember or have any record of registering an email address when I initially started using 1Password.com, so I assume I will need my security key when I move to 1Password 8.

1Password 7 is no longer available though the App Store unless you purchased it previously. 1Password 8 does not have the ability to use standalone vault. This would likely be iCloud based on your message.

1Password 8 can help you move your data to a 1Password account.

If nothing is show under account then you are likely using iCloud to sync. You would not have a Secret Key in this instance as the Secret Key is only part of 1Password memberships.
