1Password Beta 8.5 for Mac - Confusing to a new user. Not intuitive.

So new to password programs. Into the deep end with Beta 8.5 on MacBook. Its confusing. I ended up with two icons, V8 and beta 8 on the top bar. Then I was not informed by the install program to...
