I've noticed that 1Password's browser integration doesn't work with Firefox Nightly, at least when installed direct from Mozilla's website. I'm on Fedora 36 and it seems that the browser...
Since 1P_PeterG is hanging out here, it'd be a good place to lobby for the ability to turn off that nonsense, as it feels more like security theater to me, and (as you observed) gets in the way of folks who want to use alternative browsers
