1password doesn't start on Linux, Gnome environment
Today, I discovered 1Password Linux stand-alone app doesn't start and reports a process break.
$ 1password

It seems this affects all Electron-based apps. And https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/46538 upstream. Meanwhile, there is https://github.com/riatelab/magrit/commit/be3b6b3294ee668f94893e93d0fc37ea42f6fc8d by calling the app with
--gtk-version=3
It would be nice to see this fix in the nearest nightly build.

Hi, Dave.
I just upgraded my 1password desktop client to the latest nightly build:
~$ 1password --version 8.11.2-11.NIGHTLY
and the issue gone. Does this mean nightly build contains the fix? Or there could be another reason for this e.g. update in dependent libraries?

A fix is currently being tested in both the nightly and beta versions of 1Password for Linux. Thanks for confirming that the fix resolved the issue on your device.

Hello Meliowant! 👋
I'm sorry for the delay in replying. Our development team is currently testing a fix in 1Password for Linux 8.11.0-25 (BETA). If you're able to test this version, let me know if it doesn't resolve the issue for you.
I look forward to hearing from you.-Dave
