1Password Extension not working in any browser after 1Password 8 update

I upgraded to the 1Password 8 desktop app a few days back. I use the older 1Password browser extension here in the https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/1password-extension-deskt/aomjjhallfgjeglb...

Ah ok, as for the issue that I got same as OP.

It seemed to be ok after fully quitting safari and 1p apps and reopening them.
