1Password still exposing passwords as plaintext to KDE clipboard history

A while back I posted about a security issue due to the interaction between 1Password and clipboard histories. This shows up for example with KDE.

The solution is for 1password to use the x-kde-passwordManagerHint metadata hint which will prevent most clipboard managers from saving this data in plaintext.

The post was closed with a ticket ID NWN-67119-558 but it still seems to be a problem.

Has there been any progress on this issue?

    I guess the answer is that it hasn't been implemented.
