1password in Safari becoming a nuisance
In the last release or so 1password in Safari on my Mac has been behaving incocnsistently.
First off I have latest beta version on my Mac and I have the latest beta versions of 1Password.
That being said these inconsistencies have been behaving even when my releases were official 15.4
The first thing that is strange is the icon in the task bar is not the normal icon. It looks like this:
Second sometimes when I click the Safari menu icon
1password will respond great and fast. Later it will seem to spin for 4 seconds before the popup fills and then the autofill will not work. I can do copy and paste but not autofill. Similarly the little icon that appears in a user/pw field will not work as well in those cases.
I have only one adblocker which adguard and I have disabled that and it makes no difference.
Other times it works great. I do have something called Nextdns installed.
I have never seen this behavior on IOS.
Anybody else notice the popup delay on certain websites and what that may indicate?

Hello zalusky! 👋
I'm sorry that you're running into issues with 1Password in Safari. I'm sorry for the delay in responding, are you still seeing the issues when using the latest versions of 1Password and macOS? Let me know and I can help further.
The first thing that is strange is the icon in the task bar is not the normal icon. It looks like this:
This is the icon for the beta version of the 1Password desktop app which you said that you were using. It's completely normal if you're using the beta version.

Thanks for explaining that. I have the latest betas on the Mac and 1Password sides.
Yes I periodically still have problems with Safari. Sometimes the forms fill and other times I have to go and do a copy and paste into the forms as other people have said. I also have a lifetime license on Adguard.

Thank you for the reply. It sounds like you might be running into a known issue that our team is tracking. The next time that the issue occurs, open the website in a new tab in Safari. Does that get things working again?

I had the exact same problem and have finally confirmed it's 100% adguard that is the problem.
Disabling the extension in Safari won't fix the issue, you have to completely make sure it's not running in the background.- 1P_Dave

Thank you for sharing! Let us know if the issue returns even after turning off Adblock.
