For what it's worth, this bug was absolutely destroying Chrome for me after updating to version 99.0.4844.74. I followed 1P_Tommy's instructions, disabled the Chrome extension (just for extra coverage), then updated to 1Password 7.9.3. Chrome came back fine, and then I enabled the extension again and held my breath... and now it's behaving.
Just to be sure it wasn't starting up with the extension disabled, I restarted Chrome, and it's still doing OK. That said, @JasonLP's experience makes me nervous.
Hoping Agilebits can get to the bottom of this quickly!
