I'm facing exactly the same issue with the following environment:

1Password Version: 1Password for Mac 8.10.33
Extension Version: 2.23.3 (Firefox), 2.24.2 (Chrome)
OS Version: macOS 14.5 (23F79)
Browser: Firefox 126.0, Google Chrome 125.0.6422.113

As soon as I disable the 1Password extension, it's working without any problems. On my Windows computer with extension version 2.8.1 it's also working when enabled.
