Beta

I am signed up for Beta but am also on the Nightly Update. Are these two mutually exclusive or am I still automatically updated to the new Beta as and when released? 1Password Version: Not Pro...

Hello Andrew42! 👋

Thank you for reaching out! Nightly updates feature the latest changes and features but don't go through our Quality Assurance (QA) process. Beta updates are released after those features have gone through QA and are tested further in beta before being released to the stable.

What release channel do you currently have set in the app? You can check by following these steps:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
  2. Click on 1Password next to the  in the menu bar.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Advanced.
  5. Check to see that "Release channel" is set to.

Then click on About and let me know what version you're currently running, this will help me advise further. I look forward to hearing from you.
