Bug when searching

Hi,

I've noticed a small and stupid bug on the search function when searching numbers (using latest mac beta):

  • Create an entry with the name "TEST A45978", to trigger the bug, the name has to have a number on it but with letters attached

  • Now, try to search "45978" and you will find 0 results

  • If you search A45978 or TEST, results will appear

  • Now, rename "TEST A45978" to "TEST A-45978"

  • Try to search again for "45978" and results will appear

    Hello @AOS, thank you for taking the time to share this with us, and the (literally!) illustrative screenshots as well.

    As I understand it, this is a result of the way that 1Password 8 currently handled substring matching. The search feature, generally speaking, is an ongoing area of development here, so I have included your comments and the results of your tesitng in our internal discussion around this feature.

    Thanks for letting us know where you think we could do better, and why this matters to you. We'll keep iterating and hope to impress you as we go!
