Can't exit search after editing & deleting items

I'm trying to identify the minimal repro, and I will make a video when I can. Here's the general process - Search for something with multiple matching items Edit one of the items Archive ...

Ahh, there's another step necessary to trigger this. After editing one of the items, instead of hitting Save on that item, click directly on another item.
