Hi. I clear my browser cache relatively often(not passwords). Each time I do, I have to re-enter the really long Secret Key for 1Pass. Is there some way to avoid this? I do not use the 1Pass extension. This is for logging into my account in Chrome.

Thank you @Joy_1P . Yes, I'm mobile with a laptop. The secret key and emergency kit is a poorly designed system, IMO. I think most people will choose to store the secret key on their device due to the inconvenience of this arrangement. In other words, technically if the rules are followed by the user, your secret key and emergency kit is very secure. But, when you include the 'human' element. In reality, not secure in at least some cases. Probably most cases. The human making decisions should be included in the design, since this is reality.
However, your solution of using the app should do the trick. Thank you for the reply, and the ideas.
Hey @MrOrange! I do understand why you'd want to clear your cache regularly. Unfortunately, when that is done, you would have to indeed sign back in with your Secret Key and Account Password. There's not a way around that.
It would be useful to have your Emergency Kit handy so that you can get to your Secret Key and enter it as needed. Another option is to use a different browser for just logging into 1Password.com.
Lastly, you can download the 1Password app and use it (if you don't already have it). There are many things that you can do effectively via the app, such as editing, organizing, and managing your logins.
