3 years agoDisable 1PW Passkeys? They seem to be messing with iCloud Keychain...
I store my Passkeys in iCloud Keychain. I don't want to use 1PW to save them.
I'm trying to login to Okta with my Passkey which I've been doing for ages now but recently, doing so is putting up a 1Password prompt to save a Passkey and iCloud Keychain's built-in support is not triggered, almost like 1PW is overriding it.
I'd like to disable 1PW Passkey support so I can use my iCloud Keychain Passkey again but I can't figure out how to do it.

In researching this a bit, I read a post that indicated that the 1PW browser extension was actually modifying the WebAuthn support via the DOM on pages to effectively hijack/take-over Passkey communication for that page, is that correct?
If that's right that seems like a massive over-reach. I don't expect the 1PW browser extension to be messing with the contents of the page.
