disable popup "save password" when type in number on microsoft authenticator when authenticating
When using Microsoft Authenticator to sign into a Microsoft account, I have to enter a number. 1Password has a popup asking whether I want to save password.
This is an unwanted popup since I will never save the number
How to disable popup?

Hello everyone! I'm sorry about the issue you're all encountering with the 1Password Android app. We're aware of an issue with the Autosave popup appearing in the Microsoft Authenticator app, as noted by darkHome. Our development team is currently addressing it. I've added everyone here to the known issue.
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

I was looking for the same thing. This seemed to have just started for me. I use MS Authenticator all the time for different accounts for work and it is quite annoying to have it offer to save all the time for the OTP.

I opened an issue with support and they say
The auto-save popup is a feature released in the latest version of the 1Password for the Android app. It cannot be turned off without disabling Autofill in the 1Password for Android app.
Obviously disabling Auto fill is defeating one of the main uses of 1Password.
Support goes on to say
However, we've received reports of this popup appearing when opening certain apps, including the Microsoft Authenticator app. We've created an issue for our development team to investigate further and for an option to possibly add an option to toggle this feature off/on. I've added you as an affected user to our internal reporting.
I replied to support with this thread in case they want to link it to their internal ticket.

Same here. Or add "Never for this Site" to the list of current options ("Don't Save" and "Save", I think) so that I never have to see the popup in the MS Authenticator app, again. It pops up every time I get an request on the MS Authenticator app and I sometimes get a lot of requests via the authenticator app.

While I have experienced the same issue, I have noticed the behavior is around prompting the keyboard for an input. I received the same 1pass notification when updating the Security PIN in Settings to unlock my Pixel.

It appears fixed. I used Microsoft authenticator a bunch this week, and no more popups.
Nice work! - 1P_Dave

Hello everyone,
Our developers are currently testing a fix in the latest beta to only prompt to autosave when both username and password fields are present on screen in an app. We're interested in learning if the fix resolves the issue for you. If you're willing to try the beta then you can find steps here:
If you try the beta then let me know if that resolves the issue for you.

Like the 2 previous posters, this problem has reappeared for me. I'm running the same versions they are. As I reported above, the problem was resolve around November 1. I noticed in the last couple of days, it is back.
1Password: 8.10.56 (updated 3 days ago)
MS Authenticator: 6.2412.8087 (updated 6 days ago)
Samsung S24+, Android 14, One UI 6.1I noticed that the 8.10.56 Release Notice has "You'll now be able to turn off Offer to save logins" I saw a global switch under Autofill settings but nothing that is app-specific. Is this breaking again related to this change?

Just wanted to see if there is an update on this. I seem to now also get the popup for items other than MS authenticator as well.
