I was looking for the same thing. This seemed to have just started for me. I use MS Authenticator all the time for different accounts for work and it is quite annoying to have it offer to save all the time for the OTP.

I opened an issue with support and they say The auto-save popup is a feature released in the latest version of the 1Password for the Android app. It cannot be turned off without disabling Autofill in the 1Password for Android app. Obviously disabling Auto fill is defeating one of the main uses of 1Password. Support goes on to say However, we've received reports of this popup appearing when opening certain apps, including the Microsoft Authenticator app. We've created an issue for our development team to investigate further and for an option to possibly add an option to toggle this feature off/on. I've added you as an affected user to our internal reporting. I replied to support with this thread in case they want to link it to their internal ticket.

Same here. Or add "Never for this Site" to the list of current options ("Don't Save" and "Save", I think) so that I never have to see the popup in the MS Authenticator app, again. It pops up every time I get an request on the MS Authenticator app and I sometimes get a lot of requests via the authenticator app.

While I have experienced the same issue, I have noticed the behavior is around prompting the keyboard for an input. I received the same 1pass notification when updating the Security PIN in Settings to unlock my Pixel.

This issue happens for me as well. Pixel 6 Pro, Android 15 (Jan 5, 2015 Security Update), Auth version 6.2501.0191, 1Password version 8.10.60. This behaviour has always been the case for me - it has always popped up.

As of today my phone (Pixel 7a, Android 15, Auth. version 6.2501.0191, 1password version 8.10.60) no longer pushed the popup. Fingers crossed this will work from now on.

Hopefully, there will be a quick fix. I have to handle multiple MS requests per day, and it's just annoying. The prompt to fill in a password, if just a displayed number, is requested and the save dialog afterward.

1P_Evon Happy new year. Any progress with this behavior? Still consistently (and incorrectly) offering to "save username and password to 1Password" for Microsoft Authenticator 2FA.

Yep, for me, 1Password asks consistently on every Microsoft Authenticator OTP authentication to save that OTP.

Might be worth to check if Microsoft is doing something wrong in their form, or maybe even ask Google/Android to allow developers and force implementors of such forms (in this case Microsoft Authenticator's app) to clearly make a distinction between OTP passwords and credentials you would actually want to save. Latter might take a while...
