Do I need 1Password for Safari?

I have 1Password 8.7.1 I keep getting update notifications in App Store for 1Password for Safari. That's in addition to update notifications for 1Password. Do I need 1Password for Safari installe...

Thanks for the answer. Yes, I use Safari, and use 1Password in Safari all the time. Everything works.
Do I need both 1Password and 1Password for Safari? It used to be that 1Password installed the extension.
