4 years agoFill from quick access?
I'm just starting to try out v8 and the new extension, so I might be missing something, but it seems like it's not possible to fill in passwords or credit cards from quick access. I can do it by opening the browser extension, but I have to use a different keyboard shortcut. I also can't stand the inline dropdown because it requires the mouse, covers UI elements, doesn't have search, and doesn't support switching vaults. Will this be supported in quick access eventually? Thanks!

Hey, folks! We've got something up our sleeves I think you'll enjoy. Stay tuned. ;)
Regarding the inline menu, @mwean, you can disable that if you'd like.

I feel exactly the same way and made a post about this maybe a month ago. There have been other discussions as well. Short answer is, they are relying on the browser extension for auto-fill, and NO, the "quick access" thing has been gutted and can no longer do this for you. Thank you for posting about it, because I hope continued discussion on this point will get the team to rethink this. The death of 1Password Mini has not been filled by Quick Access and the browser extensions! And yes, the inline dropdown is disappointing and distracting for all the reasons you stated!
