Thank you dteare for bringing back QR scanner into the main app. But please rethink the current implementation of entries count.
Why do I have to scroll to the end of the list in order to see the count? Even if I don't have to scroll in case of shorter lists the count jumps up and down while switching categories. The counter has to stay in the same position and the standard way is a status area/bar.
Really all implementations I know of place such kind of status information in a static area below or next to the items that are counted. Even your first beta implementation used a static counter area below the list. Having to scroll in order to get that information is neither standard nor practical.
