Has something changed: http:// not filling in any more?
For passwords I have that are specifically http:// like on my own Lan, these aren't being suggested any more by 1Password extension in Brave. Anything https:// is working.
And yes I have http:// set as the Website address.
I'm sure this was working until very recently.
Hey everyone! 👋
We’re testing a fix for HTTP filling, including non-HTTPS localhost setups. That fix is already live in the nightly version of the browser extension, and assuming things look good, we’ll roll it into beta and then production next. For now, the workaround is still to copy and paste or drag and drop your credentials.
If you’re willing to help us test, you can grab the nightly builds here (there is no nightly version for Safari): Use 1Password beta or nightly releases
Appreciate everyone’s patience here. If you try the nightly and notice anything weird, definitely give us a shout here in the thread.

Exactly the same problem in Safari and Brave, but not in Google Chrome, all Browsers latest versions on my macOS 15.7.3. I downgraded the Brave extension so that it works again. Please fix this urgently!

Something has absolutely changed. I emailed support, waiting to hear back.
I had issues running Firefox 146.0.1 on macOS 26.1 and 1p extension version 8.11.23.2. I have since downgraded to extension version 8.11.15.5 and have regained the functionality.
I also had issues on a Windows 10 machine running Chrome 143.0.7499.170 and 1p extension version 8.11.22.27 on Windows 10 22H2.

Still broken for me:
Browser: Firefox 146.0.1
1Password browser extension version: 8.11.23.2
OS: Mac OSX 15.6 - mike_andrewsNew Contributor
Same thing here. Unable to fill any http site. Started recently on Firefox 146.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 11 with 1Password Extension 8.11.23.2.
Warning: Password fields present on an insecure (http://) page. This is a security risk that allows user login credentials to be stolen.

Same case with extension version 8.11.22.27 on ChatGPT Atlas browser version 20251218120745000. Not having issue with extension version 8.11.16.35 on Firefox.

Same issue!
Chrome 143.0.7499.170 stable, macOS 26.2, 1Password 8.11.22https://releases.1password.com/b5x/stable/#changelog says there's a version 8.11.23 out but I can't find it anywhere...

Same issue with http:// sites. Confirmed on Chrome and Edge on Windows 11 and on my Samsung Android phone running Chrome.

This is affecting me as well; autofill doesn't work at all for http:// sites using Safari.
I'm running the latest versions: Safari Version 26.2 (20623.1.14.18.4), 1Password for Mac 8.11.22 (81122027), 1Password for Safari Version 8.11.22 (81122027).
This appears to be a recent issue; when I tested in Edge and Brave, autofill still worked for http:// sites, but this is dependent on the extension version. Version 8.11.20.39 is working on Brave, but 8.11.22.27 isn't working on Edge (which presumably auto-updated). - BrianTNew Contributor
I too have the same issue in Edge (windows 11). Local sites (http://192etc) no longer get the 1password autofill dropdown. was working fine up until recently. still works in Firefox but not Edge
Edge extension version 8.11.22.27 - delfuegoOccasional Contributor
FYI, looks like this affects Safari as of the last few days, as well; I couldn't figure out why the extension wasn't working for me at all, and then figured out that it's only on HTTP sites and that it's definitely no longer showing up in any way on those sites.
Happy to debug however it might be helpful, but OMFG it's super annoying — we have a lot of network infra and other stuff that has admin interfaces on plain HTTP (since it's locked down to management networks/VLANs anyway) and now 1P can't function on those sites.

Came here to post the same. 1Password stopped appearing for my network device management pages at http://192.168.x.x.
I thought maybe they revoked 1Password support non-SSL enabled pages and was looking for an option to turn it back on!

Just to document:
- 1Password browser extension version 8.11.22.27
- 1Password for Mac 8.11.22 (81122027)
I've generated a 1P diagnostics file, if it'd be of use; happy to send it to someone.
