How to reduces the size of password

Trying to create a new password on my mac for a new site but 1p passwords are too long, site only allows 16 characters, 1p is recommending more. How do I change the length. Cheers 1Password ...

Hey miltonBA,

You can change the length of the suggested password from the Password Generator. Here's how:

  1. Click on the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and sign in
  2. Click the round menu next to the search bar and choose 'Password Generator'
  3. Change the type 'Random Password' and use the toggle to adjust the length
  4. You can then click 'Autofill' or choose 'Copy' and paste it into the field.
