Http basic auth not filling in

When heading to a website that uses http basic auth, 1password does not autofill not even let me fill in the login credentials. I need to copy them and paste them in manually every time. Anyone has s...

Hello @paillat! 👋

I'm sorry that you're having trouble filling into a basic authentication prompt. Can you please try the following steps:

  1. Open the web page and navigate to the basic auth prompt so that you see it open on your screen.
  2. Click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar.
  3. Click on the correct item and then click Autofill.

Your login credentials should be filled and submitted. Are you following these steps and finding that things still aren't working?
