Currently, support for Collections isn't available in 1Password in the browser (browser extension), but I'd be happy to pass your insight forward as we work to make improvements in that regard.
and it appears random as to whether I see a particular vault or not. I have had to resort to copying/pasting from the main app as that is the only way I am able to find the password I am looking for.
The items that show on the inline menu are based on the root URL from the page you're on matching the URL in the 1Password item. If the root URL doesn't match, it won't be suggested. Furthermore, we will only display suggestions from the vaults toggled as visible in the following location: Right click the 1Password icon in the browser's toolbar > Settings > Accounts & Vaults section.
