Menu bar item disappears

Hard to say what this might be. I've not seen this issue myself. If you see it happen again, could you try quitting Bartender? If the icon shows up when you quit Bartender, that would probably at least limit the scope of what we're looking for.

I do have bartender but it is set to appear in the regular menu bar space, not the bartender Dropdown.

Interesting. 🤔 Perhaps something like Bartender that auto hides the icon? Have you noticed anything that you do that can trigger this? If so, please share those steps with me. If we can reproduce it we can likely find a resolution.

Do you have the option for keep 1Password in the menu bar selected? Top of the General Tab in Preferences.
