My 1P8 beta not updating to 1P8 release version

As far as I can see 1P8 release is 8.7.0 80700098. My beta 1P is 8.7.0 80700095. When I click "check for updates" it shows "downloading update" but then changes directly to "you're up to date"....

I don't know if there have been any nightly builds since my post above on May 14th, but so far the second attempt at reverting to Production seems to have been successful.

The only things I did differently in the successful second attempt were:-

  1. Reboot after deleting the nightly build app in step 2.
  2. Turned off "install updates automatically" in Prefs
  3. Left the old Data file (step 3) in the Desktop instead of deleting it. Doubt this was a factor.
