New Feature "Expiry date" - Where is the alert?

I would like to know if I just don't understand it or if it doesn't work. I have added a date to an item and set an alarm for the day before. But no alarm appears on the day of the alarm?! I can o...

    I saw your topic before creating this one.

    While your topic is about a bug of the option to set an alert is not appearing and/or having a format issue, this thread is about how to get notified when an alert expires.

    Me (and it seems other members, too) would like to know if there is a way to get a hint or notification when an item has been expired or will expire.

    Right now, there seems to be no way except going to the item itself or to watchtower and this is neither user friendly nor does this cool feature makes sense without it.

      Yes, I agree. Needs some kind of explanation on how the Alert shows itself when it goes of,  and/or improvement, as it's seemingly hidden currently.
