noisy notifications

Every time the browser plugin is updated on every browser on each computer, I get a separate notification in the plugin that there's news!!! with a little dot and a notification that it was updated. ...

Hey @ckellogg, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. I can understand why the extension notifications can be disruptive. I've passed along your feedback about disabling/suppressing the extension notifications to our team. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help.
