Opera Extension Biometric.

Started using Opera. Quite like it.
I came from Brave and on the extension on that one i can use biometric to unlock.
On Opera i can´t. Quite boring to punch in my long password everytime.
How is that so? Thought they both were Chromium

1Password Version: 8.10.18
Extension Version: 2.16.0
OS Version: Sonoma 14.0
Browser: Opera

    Hey Geetaarman81,

    Thanks for reaching out. While Opera is built with Chromium, it's not officially a browser we support and integration will not work.

    That being said, you can add it as a trusted browser through the 1Password desktop Mac app so you can unlock it with biometrics. Here's how:

    1. Open the 1Password desktop app.
    2. Click "1Password" in the macOS menu bar and select "Settings".
    3. In the Labs section, turn on "enable custom browser support".
    4. In the Browser section, click "Add Browser".
    5. In your Applications folder, locate and add "Opera".
    6. Complete the process by authorizing 1Password.

    Once that's done, restart Opera and click the 1Password extension to unlock it.
