Preferences toggle for Case Sensitive / Spotlight Search

Why is the only search option in both 1Password 8 and Quick Access case sensitive when both 1Password 7, 1Password Mini and the iOS/iPadOS apps are not? Will case sensitivity be turned off eventually...

Could you you tell me a bit more about your use case? What are you typically trying to accomplish when you search in the desktop app?
