Preferences window on Mac 1P8

Why is the preferences window modal? Why is the close button on the right? You do realize that this is not what a Mac user expects to find, right? Please change this behavior. Thank you. 1Pas...

Because it's Electron, and Electron isn't built to work like Mac apps are supposed to work.
